The Chief Secretary, Mr. Fred Flowers, M.L-C.. in a speech at Newcastle, advocated the installation of State meat shops. If. he said, there was one thing that should be under the direct control of the municipality or the Government, it was the killing and serving of meat.
[State meat shops have been in existence in West Australia for the past two or three years. They were established under the Scadden Labour Government.]
