At the Mag-strfcte's Court to-dav, David aldemar Olsen, who committed "a breach of the Licensing Act by delivering whisky at Waihi in beer bottles without properly labelling them, was convicted and fined 20s and costs. Emma Cargill, who took the liquor into her home, was fined a similar amount. The magistrate said that defendant had only committed a technical breach, and Mrs. Cargill, who evidently felt that she had not deserved the penaltv. said when stepping out of the box .--••This (mean nig Waihi) is no place for anvbodv and I am going to get out of it, as soon as I can sell my furniture/'
