THE FOLLOWING IS TYPICAL OF THE RESULTS OBTAINED WHEN "RED HAND" BRAND, HARTMANFS ANTI-CORROSIVE PAINT la used upon Galvanised Iron Structures: — Engineer's Office, Lytt«lton Harbour Board. Lytteiton, N.Z., May 31, 1909Gentlemen. — have pleasure in stating that the Lytteiton Harbour Board's Grain Store Roofs were painted with Hartmann's AntiCorrosive Red Paints in November. 1902, one coat being put on No. 7 Store Roof and two coats on No. 5 Store Roof. When I examined these roofs on the 21st inst.. I found the Paint in good condition, and that it did not require renewal after 6t years' exposure, and that the galvanised iron was perfectly protected from decay, though exposed to an atmosphere charged with impurities peculiarly destructive to such material. In painting these roofs, tho surface covered by this paint was 3244 square feet per cwt for the first coat, and 5986 square feet per cwt for the second coat. The Paint is particularly suitable for the protection of galvanised iron roofing under the most trying conditions.— JT m yours faithfully. CYRUS J. R. WILLIAMS. Engineer to the Boad.
