MISHAP IN BATHS
Ax incident which was fortunately not attended by serious consequences, occurred at the Hobson Street Baths on Saturday. As usual, a large number of bathers were making use of the chute. One youthful bather, after sliding down, foolishly remained in the water at the foot of the chute. His presence in this dangerous position was not noticed by another young man who came down almost immediately afterwards. The result was that the second bather's head struck the back of the other one with considerable force. Both had to be assisted out of the water but after receiving attention they were a.blo to proceed to their homes, one with a sore back and the other with a sore head.
