POINT CHEVALIER BOARD.
The Point Chevalier Road Board met last evening. Mr. T. Dignan presiding. A deputation from the School Committee waited on the board in reference to draining the overflow from the school bath to Fifth Avenue. A committee was appointed to report on the matter. It was decided to erect a tap at the beach for the convenience of visitors. Five tenders, rangfrom £1118 lis fld to £1397 16s 6d. were | received for the reconstruction of Gladstone Road. The lowest, that of Mr. A. | Higgins, was accepted.
