(3) The calling of tenders for countv works estimated to cost more than, say, £20. (4)'Theestablishment of a general county fund, according to the Counties Act. (s)' The non-commencement, of particular works until the cost of wime can bo met by assured finance. Too many works are lying in an unfinished state, without meaiw for their completion being properly provided. Ratepayers should elect councillors who, while giving particular care to the welfare of their particular ridings, are also able to take a business interest in affairs of the whole county.
