Wellington, Saturday. The House of Representatives met at 10 a.m.

The Masseurs Registration Bill wis introduced by Governor's Message and read a first time.

The following local Bills were passed through all their stages:l'akapuna Borough Foreshore Vesting, Whangarei Borough Land Vesting, Napier Harbour Board Empowering and Loan, Riccarton Bush, Eltham Drainage, Dunedin District Drainage and Sewerage Acts Amendment, Waitara Harbour Empowering, Auckland City Empowering, Southland Drainage, Christchurch District Drainage Amendment, Auckland Harbour Board Vesting, Wairoa Harbour Board Endowment, Wellington City Milk Supply Amendment, Christchurch Milk Supply, and Dunedin, City Lands Vesting.

The Awakino County Council Empowering and Christchurch Tramways District Bills were withdrawn.

Mr. Bradney moved the second reading of the Roman Catholic Bishop of Auckland Empowering Bill, which was carried on the voices. In Committee two new clauses were added, to which Mr. Dickson objected, but the Prime Minister promised to have the clauses carefully examined in the Legislative Council, and the .bill was then read a. third time and passed. The House adjourned at 11.45 a.m. till 7.30 p.m. on Monday.
