BATTLE RAGING SOUTH OF BRUGES AND GHENT.

GERMANS REPORTED TO BE LOSING GROUND. ONLY A FEW HUNDRED TROOPS LEFT IN ANTWERP, (Received October 25, 7.30 p.m.) Amsterdam, October 24. A battle is now raging 15 miles south of the Bruges and Ghent line. The Germans arc making the utmost use of the hilly district. Though losing ground they are offering a fierce resistance.

Imports from Breda, in Holland, state that only a few hundred troops of the Landsturm arc left at Antwerp. The remainder of the troops marched towards Turnhout, 25 miles to the east of Antwerp. German wounded arc streaming into Antwerp. Vessels full of wounded arc lying in the Scheldt.
