INCREASE CONTEMPLATED. Accord- ' ing to an estimate given yesterday, a ton . of flour will produce 1300 21b loaves, and y the cost of manufacture and distribution* if regulated by methodical economy, is ••', £8 10s per ton. While flour remains at Us , present price, it is stated, there is practic-. ally no margin of profit in selling bread at 4d per loaf, and an increase in price seems reasonable.. .
