LEGISLATIVE MEASURES. < By Telegraph Press Association—CopjrigM Sydney, October 23. In the Assembly a Bill was introduced to enable the Government to raise loans at interest exceeding 4 per cent., and permit the renewal of Treasury bills shortly falling due. A Bill was passed authorising the shire councils to borrow money for public works.
