BRITISH STEAMER SUNK.

The captain of the steamer Clitra states that a German submarine stopped his ship twelve miles off the coast of Norway, sent five men aboard, and ordered the English flag to be lowered, threatening to shoot the captain. The captain was given ten minutes to lower the lifeboats, in which the crew were subsequently picked up by a Norwegian torpedoer. The Clitra was sunk by the enemy by opening her bottom valves.
