BOWLING.
NOTES AND COMMENTS. The members of the Mount Albert Bowling Club will open the green to-day without ceremony. The official "At Home" will be held later in the season. The Ellerslie Bowling Club intends to open the green for play informally to-day. Members of other clubs will be welcomed. The official opening will be held later in the season. The Auckland Club's green will be opened for the season without ceremony on Saturday next. The official opening of the West End Club s green will be held on October 17.
