' The Auckland team has been considerably 1 strengthened, and is now a very strong side. I At the conclusion of the match, both teams will be entertained at 8* dinner, with a theatre party to follow. The Waikato Association treated the Auckland representatives royally, and to-day's visit will enable the Auckland Association to recognise the country association's generosity. It is pleasing to learn that J. Kane, who was severely injured last Saturday, is now making satisfactory progress towards recovery. . . . The secretary of the Auckland Association requests that all butts and unsold tickets for the art union should be returned at once, to allow of arrangements wing made for the draw on October 26. T. ] Philp.' Holford. Harvey. Harrison. Dance, and Gilrnonr. A letter was received from the Boys' Subcommittee requesting that the Wellington fifth grade representatives be invited to come to Auckland next Easter, and that the teams be selected from this season's fifth grade players. It was decided to extend the invitation to the Wellington Association. As a result of the cop final between i Thistle and Brotherhood, the Thistle team j was declared the winners of the Falcon Cup ! for the 1914-15 season. The referee's report 1 on the game stated that two players, one j lien each team, were ordered. OS and that j another of the Thistle team was cautioned • during the progress of the game. It was j resolved that the players named in the re- ] port b-3 requested to attend before the asj sociation at a meeting to be held next i Tuesday. | Final arrangements for the representative | match between the Waikato Association and the local representatives were made. The game will be played at Bayswater on No. 1 ground. Mr. Dawson will act as referee, with Messrs. Wright and Woods as linesmen- The usual charge for admission will be made.
