ADVANCE OF THE MONTENEGRINS AND SERVIANS.

AUSTRIANS ABANDON PROVISIONS AND WAR MATERIALS

MONTENEGRINS WITHIN TEN MILES OF BOSNIAN CAPITAL.

Nish, September, 21.

It is officially announced that in their retirement from Tishegrad, in Bosnia, the Austrians abandoned a large quantity of provisions and materials, a field hospital, and 40 railway waggons.

The Montenegrins have captured the fortress of Focha and the entrenched camps of Gorazda and Jahaka, and are now only 15 kilometres (10 miles) fram Serajevo.

Prince George of Servia has been wounded.

Serajevo is the capital of Bosnia, and has a population of 37,713, chiefly Serbo-Croatians. It spreads over a narrow valley, closed on the east by a semicircle of rugged hills. Gorazda is a village in Bosnia on the Drina, 29 miles smith-east of Serajevo.
