Black, and Graham replaced Fisher. j The Australian team opened tho attack and pressed for somo time. The New Zealanders attacked fiercely, and It.' Roberts, getting away from the ruck,' scored. Graham failed to convert, and half-time was called, with tho score :— j New Zealand 3 Australia 0 I On resuming, the " All Blacks" attacked,! and tho ball went from Roberts to Mc-| Konzio, who scored. E. Roberts's kick I at goal failed. Tho Australians rallied, and Westropp crosskickod to Dwyer, who sent on tho ball to Wogan, and ho scored. Fancy, failed to convert. I The visitors rushed the play downfield,' and Francis scored a try, v»iich Graham tailed to convert. During tho New Zealand rush Wood was injured, and was sent to tho hospital. j From a forward rush Francis again' scored. R, Roberts converted. Tho New Zealand attack was continued and from a scrum, E. Roberta secured tno ball and passed it to R. Roberts, who scored a try, which he failed to convert. The Australians became aggressive on resumption, and Dwyer, snapping up tho ball, dropkicked a goal. The Now Zealanders were pressing when Taylor scored a, try, which E. Roberts converted. Tho final scores were :— New Zealand 22 Australia 1 Sydney, August 16.
Tho New Zealand football team left for homo by yesterday's steamer.
