MINISTER REFUSES REQUEST.

Paris, August 16.
The Brussels correspondent of the Paris Temps states that before transmitting her latest request to Belgium to be allowed a free passage for her troops, Germany attempted to persuade the United States Minister to convey it. The Minister indignantly refused.
The correspondent adds that wireless stations have been discovered all over Belgium. Many were ingeniously hidden.
