CAPTURE OF GERMAN LINER
DOUBT REGARDING REPORT
New York, August 12.
Doubt regarding the reported capturo of the German liner Kronprinz Wilhelm was expressed by Captain Plunkett of the steamer Danube, which has just arrived from Bermuda. It was reported that the liner had been captured by the cruiser Essex and was being taken to Bermuda- Captain Plunkett thought the vessel might bo an oil tank steamer.
