THE RUGBY GAME. MEETING OF THE AUCKLAND UNION. A urKTiN'o of the Management Committee of the Auckland Rugby Union was hold last evening, Mr. M. J. Sheahan, chairman, occupying the- chair. A meeting of the executive of the Auckland Football Association was held at tho sports clubroom on Tuesday ovening. Mr. D. A. Williams presided and there were also present: Messrfl. Munster, Winks, Halford, Blanks, Dance, Harrison. Gilmour, Turnbull, Harvey, and Philps. Notico was received that Victoria Park would not be available for the association again this season. It was resolved that the secretary apply for 'a refund of tho amount charged for the second dressingroom which was lately taken over. The referees' reports of last Saturday's matches were received. Threo players who took part in the Thistle-Everton match were reported. They will be asked to appear before the executive next Wednesday. It was decided to hold a picture benefit in aid of the association's funds. A special meeting of the executive lias been called for Saturday next at the Bayswater Ground, As the meeting is important it is hoped all members will attend. It having been decided to roopen the McLaren case to hear fresh ovidence, the committee proceeded to deal with the matter D. McLaren conducted his own case in the prcsenco of the referee. The evidence of the refcreo was taken, also that of the two linesmen and McLaren. After consideration of the new evidence it was decided that, D.
