COLONIALS AT THE FRONT
KING EDWARD'S HORSE. AUCKLANDERS INCLUDED. Cable advice has been received from London to the effect that Mr. Harold Nathan, son of Mr. N. Alfred Nathan, of Auckland, has joined King Edward's Horse and gone to the front. King Edward's Horse is one of the special reserve regiments and was formed specially for young men from the Oversea Dominions. A few days ago it was announced that Messrs. J. and S. Hellaby and George Niool, of Auckland, who went abroad for a holiday trip, had enlisted in the same troop for active service. It is evident from the cablegrams received that these Ancklanders and probably a number of other New Zealand residents have gone to the front with King Edward's Horse. Mr. Nathan's message stated that they left for. the front on Monday last. Their actual destination, however, was not disclosed.
