MEETING OF CREDITORS.
To tho fact that ho had been held to be the undisclosed principal in a business at Cambridge, Arthur Beaumont Boyce attributed his bankruptcy, when the first meeting of his creditors was held yesterday morning. Mr. W. S. Fisher, the official assignee, stated that the debtor owed £161 15s to unsecured creditors. The bankrupt valued his assets at £476, amongst them being £156 book debts and £320 on a bill of sale. There was thus an apparent surplus of £11 ss. The bankrupt held that, in spite of the judgment given against him ho was not responsible for the debts oi tho business. It was owing to his leniency in setting up another man in business, ho faid that ho was now a bankrupt instead of a secured creditor. Mr. Fisher said ho was not going behind tho decision of the Court, which had been uphold by a second magistrate. The meeting was finally adjourned fine die, the official assignee to take the necessary steps to conserve tho creditors' Interests.
