EXCESS OF DEPOSITS. \ [BY TELEGRAPH—SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT.] Wellington, Tuesday.' The Postmaster-General, tho Hon. R. 11. Rhodes, stated that during the last few days the deposits in the Post Office Savings Hank had exceeded tho with-, drawals, thus proving that the slight run which had taken place had come to an end. • (
.Sir Joseph Ward said the people should be mudo fully aware of tho fact that tho country was behind the Post Office Savings Bank. Nothing in the world was safer than the deposits in the Post Office Savings Bank.
