CONFERENCE RESOLUTIONS.' [DT telegraph.—press association.] , Wellington, ■ Thursday. The Plunket Society conference resolved that Dr. Truby King and Mrs. King should interview the Hon. R. H. Rhodes with reference to the relations of tho society with the Health Department; that tranches contribute £1 annually towards the cost of. training end) nurse employed by' branches and also contribute'towards the cost of a hygiene column in tho newspapers; that Plunkot nurses be paid £150 per annum; tbat in future any nurso appointed assistant Plunket nurse must have a proper course of training at Karitane Hospital; that as Plunket nurses now receive a salary of £150 per annum it is unnecessary that uniforms be paid for. out of branch funds; that the dress worn by the Wellington nurses be approved as the most suitable for the whole Dominion.
