LITTLE HOPE THIS SESSION.

Sydney, July 9. Replying to tho New South Wales Alliance deputation asking for a, bare majority vote, the earlier closing of hotels, and State option, the Minister for Justice, Mr. D. R. Hall, said yesterday that the pressure of business made it impossible for tho requests to he considered this session, but ho would sympathetically place them before his colleagues next session.
Mr. Hall said ho had little hope of securing much in the way of liquor reform from the present Parliament, and until he could get in each electorate a strong party absolutely determined to put the liquor question first and foremost it was no use blaming Parliament not doing Shat the Alliance wanted*
