ACCOUNTANTS' SOCIETY.
ACTION AGAINST A MEMBER.

Wellington*, Thursday. The New Zealand Society of Accountants to-day sued Albert Hamblyn,- storekeeper, of Ngaruawahia, for the return of an accountancy certificate issued at the formation of the (society. Hamblyn ceased to be a member of the society by reason of not itaying his subscription. Repeated applications for return of the certificate were not heeded, and Action was then taken. The defendant, did not appear. Mr. Riddell, S.M., ordered that the- certificate ho returned by July 16, and that tho defendant should pay costs amounting to £1 17b 6d.
