PASSENGERS BY SEA. THE PORT OF AUCKLAND. LOSS OF 972 IN SIX MONTHS. The number of persons leaving the Port of Auckland last month was 1360, and the arrivals were 792. Compared with the figures for June of last year, these totals show a decrease in the arrivals of 61, and an increase in tie departures of 158. The arrivals during June Were 429 less than the number in the previous month, while the departures were greater by , 110 when compared with the May figures. £ In the following comparative table, the figures for the first six months - of 1913 and 1914 are given:— >
