. CHANGES ANNOUNCED. GRANTS TO LOCAL BODIES. REJECTION NOW DIFFICULT. By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright. (Received June 30. 11.10 p.m.) London, June 30. The Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr. Lloyd George, announced in the House of Commons yesterday that instead of cutting the Finance Bill the Government would incorporate in a Revenue Bill the clauses of the Finance Bill, the introduction of which had been sanctioned. The former Bill would embody a new valuation scheme and also grants to local authorities. It is expected that the new plan will make it difficult for the House of Lords to reject the valuation scheme.
