Asked in the House of Commons to-day by Mr. Redmond why the regulations compelling wireless installations were restricted to ships carrying over 50 people, Mr. John Burns (President of the Board of Trade) replied that the Bill merely gave effect to the recommendations of the recent convention. Probably it would be found desirably at a future date to reconsider the. matter.
