Two persons charged with drunkenness, and another, charged with theft, were the occupants of the police cells last night. ■ The annual meeting of the Auckland Women's Political Reform League is to be held in the Chamber of Commerce rooms to-morrow afternoon.

No 'trace has yet been found of tho elderly man, Thomas Webb, who has been reported to be missing from his home in Rosebank Road, Avondale.

A visit is being made to Auckland by Mrs. John Sunderland, formerly of Gisborne, who is at. present touring the Dominion, chiefly in the interests of the Mothers' Union.
