SUM OF £100,000 REALISED.

The dispersal sale of Grenfell's pictures, in connection with the compulsory winding-up of the firm of Chaplin, Milne, Grenfell, and Company, took place yesterday. • The pictures, 87 in number, realised £100,000. They included Titian's "Lorenzo, Duke of Urbino," which brought £13,000.

The purchaser of the Titian was Sir Hugh Lamb, who in 1911 sold it to Grenfell for £30,000.
