The naval policy in the Pacific was discussed by the Times to-day. It says that the question develops tho argument that the real danger to Australia is from Japan. The Commonwealth is justified in not reposing too much trust in the Anglo-Japanese alliance; The success of the Australian efforts must ultimately depend upon the co-operation of Britain and the other Dominions. Tho real need at tho moment is another Imporial Conference. >
