PRIZE CATS ON SHOW.

FINE ANIMALS EXHIBITED. The Auckland and Suburban Poultry Association's lfitli annual show was brought to an end qn Saturday, when the usual cat show was hold. The animals exhibited, according to the statements of the judge, were splendid examples of the fcliue tribe, but a number of the exhibitors failed to make the moat of their pets through careless grooming. Of the 72 exhibits, no less than 60 were Persian cats. Mrs. Orr's Bruin, a blue Persian, adjudged the best nmlo cat exhibited. was awarded the gold medal presented by Mr. Cecil Leys, while Mr. J M. Thompson's special medal for the best female cat was annexed by Mrs. Fowler's Franzia. Miss Loys's Fluffie, a fine blue Persian neuter, won the gold medal presented by tho club for the best cat in tho show other than the two champions, Mr. Harrison's Princess Royal was accorded tho honor of being tho best Persian kitten oil exhibition. In the children's section for haired rata special prizes were won by Miss Jean | Ansenne s Teddy and B. Forsyth Omar.
