OUTBREAKS OF FIRE.
HOUSE IN PAEROA DESTROYED. [by telegraph.— correspondent.] Paeroa, Thursday. A foto-boomed bouse in Paeroa, owned Dy Mr. 0. Barrett, and occupied by Mr. F. Finch, was totally destroyed by fire shortly before six o'clock this morning. Mr. Finch had left for work about an hour previously, and there was nobody in the tiouse at the time The building was insured for £150 in the North British and Mercantile Company, and' tho furniture for £75 in tho Australian Alliance Company.
FIRE AT TE KUITI.
[BT telegraph,—press association.] Tk KmTi, Thursday. A cottage, occupied by E. Chapman, and owned by tho executors of N. Matthews, was destroyed by fire last night. There is an insurance on the house of £200 in the State Office, and on the furniture £100 in the London and Lancashire. The origin of the fire is unknown.
