. RIVERINA RUNNING LATE.
The. storm which swept over Sydney and the Sinth Wales coast on Wednesday was responsible for the Huddart-Porker liner Riverina, this week's direct steamer to Auckland, being delayed. The Riverina left the Margaret Street Wharf ! at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, but owing to the high sea running, and - tho wild nature ;©f the weather outside Port Jackson Heads, Captain Entwistlo anchored h'O vessel in Watson's.. Bay until daylight yesterday. A Sydney cablegram state? that although the gale was still raging yesterday, the Riverina resumed her voyage to Auckland in the morning. As sho is now running about 10 hours late, the vessel will probably not arrive here until eariy on Monday morning. Tho Riverina sails' on the return voyage on Monday evening,
