CARNIVAL AT THAMES.
An excursion to Thames is to be held on Saturday, April 4. On that day a military carnival is to be held there, including athletic events, boxing contests, military competitions, etc-, and a particularly attractive programme has been arranged. Entries for the different events close with Capt. Shand, Lieut. Lewis or Sergt. McRae at Thames on Saturday next. The Wakatere has been chartered for the excursion.
