The principal events transpire at Monte Carlo, in London and in the country, and are written round the career of a brilliant adventuress. An element of mystery introduced at the beginning heightens the intorest.of this entertaining novel,'and a strong love element, running through ,it adds , additional fascination' to an already charming serial.
