THE VISITORS DEFEATED

Thames, Thursday. The annual inter-club match Thames v. Remuera was played on the Thames green to-day, the visitors, •to the number of four rinks, arriving by the Wakatere at noon, the match, as usual, was a very closelycontested one, the final result being still in doubt up to the last head played, and eventually resulted in a win for the local club by 80 to 72.
