X-RAY TUBE PIONEER.

New York, March 5. The pioneer manufacturer of X-ray tubes, Mr. Henry Green, has died at Hartford (Connecticut) from carcinoma of the liver, induced by X-ray poison.

Mr. Green developed the first focussing tubes, and successfully operated them, later beginning their manufacture on a commercial basis.
