SUEZ CANAL'S DEPTH.
BIG SCHEME IN HAND.

Paris, March 5. The Suez Canal is being deepened to admit vessels of 28,000 tons, drawing 33ft.
The width of the cajval at present is 120 ft, and the depth is sufficient for vessels drawing up to 28ft.
