PRICES STILL RISING.
AMERICA BUYING FREELY.

London, March 6. At the London wool sales yesterday, there was a strong upward tendency, America buying merinos and crossbreds freely.
The following prices were realised for the fleece portions of the clips named: —Gear, top 16d, average 13& d. Ngahara, top I3Ad, average 12jd. Tukurongo, top 12Jd, average 124 d.
At Bradford yesterday wool was firm and prices were high, thus chocking business. Sixty-fpurs, 30d ; super, 29} d; common sixties, 28id; fifty-sixes, 24id; fifties, 21 d ; fortysixes, lSd ; forties, 16|d.
