AUSTRALIANS' TOUR.

THE FINAL CARNIVAL.

The Auckland Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association will hold the third and concluding gala in connection with the visit of the Olympic and Australian champions at the Graving Dock to-day, starting •at 2.30 p.m.. A first-class and varied programme of 29 events has been arranged, and with Miss Fanny Durack to appear, and Mal.olm E. Champion and Harold Hardwick to meet in friendly rivalry over 100 yds and 880 yds, much interest is being taken in the meeting. In addition S. Smith, Australia's second long-distance swimmer, together with Clarence Thomas, F. B. Hickson, and J. D'Arcy, will be competitors. This evening a complimentary dinner will be tendered the visitors at the Tiffin, and to-morrow an excursion to Motutapu has been arranged. The following handicaps have been declared by Mr. S. L.
