MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

LONG LIST OF DEBT CASES. Several hours were occupied at the Magistrate's Court yesterday in hearing a dispute between James Miller (Mr. A. E. Skelton) v. William F. Dempsey (Mr. F. Lowry), in 'which the plaintiff claimed £2 2s, the value of 21 chickens, alleged to have been killed by the defendant's , dog. Judgment was given in favour of the plaintiff with costs.
