STOCKS AND SHARES.
YESTERDAY'S BUSINESS.
The sharemarket was fairly busy yesterday. In standard stocks, New Zealand Insurances were done at £5 15s. Auckland Gas brought 27s 9d, and more were on offer at 28s.
Waihis were done at 50s 3d and 50s. Waihi Grand Junctions eased to 25s 9d, with sellers closing at 265. Talismans could be had for 43s 3d.
