MYRIADS OF DEAD EELS.

Gisborne, Thursday. Continued dry weather is causing- considerable concern to dairy farmers. Many croeks are failing, and the water in the lake at Kaitaratahi (33 acres in extent) has almost completely disappeared, leaving myriads of dead eels exposed in the mud, creating a considerable nuisance.
