MILITARY CADETS.
TEN BOYS FOR DUNTROON.
[bt telegraph.—own correspondent.] Wellington, Tuesday. Each year a competitive examination is conducted by the university authorities for the New Zealand entrance scholarships at the Australasian Military Training College at Dantroon. Candidates have to pass tests of physical fitness before being allowed to enter for the examination. The result of the examination held in December was announced last week.
General Godley this morning informed a reporter that there were 10 vacancies for New Zealand cadets at Duntroon, and it happened that exactly 10 boys had passed the examination. They hoped, therefore, to send them all to Australia.
