ANOTHER WHANG ARK I REGATTA. LB! TELEGEAPH.—OWN correspondent.] WHAKGArtH!, Thursday. The Whangarei Harbour Regatta Club, whose annual event on New Year's Day was greatlv marred by the inclement weather, has decided to hold another regatta on January 02 at Onerahi. The movement is meeting with general support in local aquatic circles, and an interesting programme of yacht, motor-launch, and rowing races is being arrancred. On this occasion the post entry events, which had to be abandoned on New Year s Day. will be carried out A movement is on foot to form a Whangarei motor-launch and yacht club, the object being lo hold a series of aquatic carnivals during the year, when lrophies presented by the club will be comneted for. At present the harbour boasts a fleet of 65 motor-boats and 18 yachts, and the maiority of interested owners have expressed a willingness to join the new organisation.
