MONOPOLY PREVENTION. [BY TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Sunday. The House of Representatives resunied at 2.30 p.m. yesterday. The Supplementary Estimates wcro brought down by Governor's Message. The House continued the discussion on the Shops and Offices Bill, which was passed through all stages. Tho House then went into Committee on the Monopoly Prevention Amendment Bill, which was passed without amendment. The discussion on the Labour Disputes' Investigation Bill was continued, the Bill eventually beiug put through all stages.

Before it rose on Friday night the Legislative Council passed through Committee the Workers' Compensation Amendment Bill, the Mining Amendment Bill, the Reserves and Other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Bills, The Hon. H. I). Bell moved the second reading of the Customs Amendment Bill. The reading was carried. The Native Land Claims and Adjustment Bill was read a second time and taken through Committee. The Council passed with amendments the Customs Amendment Bill, Nativo Land Claims Adjustment Bill, "Washing Up" Bill, and the Mining Amendment Bill. The Council resumed at 2.30 p.m. yesterday. The Stock Amendment and Apiaries Amendment Bills were put through their final stages and passed, and the Council adjourned.
