TERRIBLE ENGLISH CRIME.
YOUNG MOTHER CONVICTED. CHILD DONE TO DEATH. By Telegraph— Association— London, December 11. A woman named Ada Williams, 26 years of age, has been convicted at the Old Bailey on a charge of dismembering and burning her four-year-old son, hoping, it is said, that her husband, who disliked the child and had left her, would afterwards return home. After the verdict had been given, a jury of matrons was empanelled to assist the Judge, who, postponed sentence until they had deliberated upon the matter.
