165 PEOPLE LOSE LIVES. DAMAGE TOTALS £1,000,000. By Telegraph—Press Association— New York, December* 11. Advices from Houston (Texas), giving the final figures for the recent floods, show that 20,000 people are now homeless, while 165 have been drowned. The damage exceeds £1,000,000.
