REICHSRATH IN AN, UPROAR. 'TUMULT. LASTS AN HOUR. CHORUS OF WHISTLES. THE SITTING SUSPENDED. Times-Sydney Sun Special Cable. (Received December 11, 6.50 p.m.) s Vienna, December 11. Wild scenes were witnessed in the Reichsrath yesterday. A Ruthenian member proposed an adjournment of the Hou*se in order to attack the Government's passive : attitude with regard to electoral I reform. The Premier protested against the charge and besought the House to pay no respect to the proposal, which was negatived. The Ruthcnians thereupon tore off the lids of their desks and beat upon them in furious rage. Others had whistles and blew them continuously. One member used a motor horn, another a bugle, while two rang the electric bells. The tumult lasted for an hour. The President finally had to suspend the sitting. / —-— Trie Reichsrath is tho Parliament of the Austrian Empire. ■ The Ruthenians are a hardy Slavonic people, a' branch of the Little Russian stock. They number close Mftn 3,500,000, and dwell in Galicia and Northern Hungary.
