PRINCE DUPED BY GIRL.
ADVENTURE ON A TRAIN. By Telegraph— Association— Rome, September 3. While Prince Urussofa, a Russian nobleman, was travelling by the Vienna-Venice express yesterday, a girl who was travelling in the same carriage offered him some refreshment.
The prince accepted the offer, and immediately after draining the wineglass went to sleep, the liquor having been heavily drugged. ' When he awoke he found that an heirloom, a diamond ring worth 40,,000 roubles (over £4000), together with his watch and chain had vanished.
The girl has escaped.
